A Card Advice On Reward Credit Cards

There are a lot of credit cards that are available nowadays whether online or offline. From interest free credit cards and instant decisions credit cards to adverse and prepaid cards, but reward points are one type of card which can actually earn you money, or other privileges, if you are suitably financially disciplined such as BPI credit card.

What are these reward cards?

Upon the use of your credit card you will going to receive these rewards if you are punctual in your paying: air miles, supermarket savings or cash and etc.

The reward cards is the opposite of the usual system of the credit card companies, these reward cards allows consumers to earn money or accrue other benefits by using their cards.

Cashback cards, for instance, reward the cardholder each time they spend by paying them back a percentage of the payment made each time, often this occurs for a set period of time.

How to choose a reward card

The reward card which will benefit you the most will depend on your individual needs and interests. If you shop at the same supermarket regularly then it is better for you to use a loyalty card.

Another example is if you are a football fan then it is better that you are going to have a branded credit card for your favorite club. A lot of Premiership nowadays are affiliated credit cards which help other organizations by donating a percentage of your spending.

However in a several cases the money that is donated to these organizations are just so small so it is better that you will just use a cashback and be the one to donate the money in your team.

Charity and air miles cards work in much the same way as football cards, and you can find the best deals for these on any good price comparison website. So that you can donate with no cost at all then you have to ensure that the balance of your credit card is paid in full every month. But if not then it is better that you will use a 0% balance transfer card. See the credit card application.

Cashback cards

There are some companies that have a promotional periods where you can earn as much as 5%, but before availing to these kinds it is better that you are going to read the details well before you sign up. Sooner or later you are going to find a card that has a lower APR and it is the better as what I have known.

You must also remember to pay off the balance in full each month, or the interest you accrue will dwarf the cash you earn on your spending. Cashback cards tend to have higher APRs than regular cards so this is even more important with a cashback card. An interest free credit card may be a good idea if ever you have a difficulty in paying your monthly balance in full.
